What does it mean to become a member of Foothills Baptist Church? Why does it matter?
When you become a member of the church you become part of a community of people who are committed to being transformed through their shared life in Jesus Christ, for His glory and the good of others.
As a member of the church you can expect others to provide you with encouragement, support and accountability, and you’ll be expected to share the same with others. And the Pastors of the Church pledge to live, lead, teach and care for our members in a way that honors Christ and is worthy of imitation.
In his book, Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote, “Christ works on us in all sorts of ways. But above all, he works on us through each other. We are carriers of Christ to each other.” If you’d like to take the next step and Discover what membership is and why it matters at Foothills Baptist Church, then register for the next two-session Discover Foothills course.
Discover Foothills begins on February 25 and runs for two Sundays. Lunch is served each week and we will meet from 12:30-2:00pm. For those with little ones, childcare is also provided.
If you are not able to attend this session, Discover Foothills will be offered again on the following dates:
- Wednesday, June 6 & 13 from 6-8pm
- Sunday, September 23 & 30 from 12:30-2pm
