Most of us think we’re pretty good self-evaluators, we assess ourselves and think “I’m a pretty good person”. The issue is that self-evaluation involves interpretation and for most people the way they interpret themselves is skewed. This is one of the many reasons we need God to intervene, which He does with the good news of Jesus.
