WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Beginning March 30^th Tuesday morning Bible Study will offer two classes:

• Me, Myself and Lies

• Becoming A Woman of Simplicity

The Tuesday evening Study will also be Me, Myself and Lies beginning April 13^th.

COMMON THREADS GROUPS

These are groups formed by common interests (for example, scrapbooking) where women can share life with other Christian women while enjoying a favorite activity. These groups are open to all women and are perfect for inviting friends and neighbors to. The frequency that each group meets is determined by the leader of the group. Watch for more information coming in the Fall or contact Carrie Chipman at carrie.chipman@cox.net. If you have a favorite hobby and we don’t have a group for it, let us know. New groups will be added as you share your ideas.

Moms in Touch International – impacts children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray

REFRESHER EVENTS

Women are made for relationships and we need times where we can come together and refresh ourselves by spending time in the company of other women. RefresHER events will be held quarterly and will be something you will want to invite friends and neighbors to. We will have our first one on October 23rd, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Keep your eyes open for more information.

SUMMER CONNECTIONS EVENTS

These events are designed to keep us all connected during the busy summer months. With many of us traveling at some point during these months, they occur monthly so you have an opportunity to attend at least one of them. Each of them is different, but you can be assured you will have a fun time and will leave having learned something new.

MISSION PROJECTS

We believe that as Christians we are not only to have a missions mind-set, but we are to have a missions lifestyle. Besides encouraging our women to participate in the various projects that the church as a whole will be doing, we will also be providing additional opportunities for our women to “be on mission.” Each quarter there will be a different emphasis. Some will be to local, some will be outside the Phoenix area, and some will be international. Keep your eyes and ears open for more information.

CONFERENCES/RETREATS

Conferences and retreats are great ways for women to rejuvenate. In 2009 and 2010, we have some great opportunities for our women to do just that:

Beth Moore Living Proof Live Conference – March 26-27, 2010, Tucson
Arizona Women’s Retreat – April 16-17. 2010, Williams
