Children's Ministry

All of our volunteers and staff go through background checks and receive the necessary training in order to be effective leaders to your children each and every Sunday.

Children's Ministry

Your faith has become important to you over the years and now as a parent you want your children to learn about God’s story. Our mission in Children’s Ministry is to help children begin developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by partnering with families in nurturing and teaching children to walk in Christ’s light.

A child’s spiritual growth starts at home. Our partnership with parents begins on Sunday mornings. Parents with children from newborns through the 5th grade can drop their children off each Sunday for fun, safe and scripturally-based age-appropriate programs in our Preschool and Children’s facilities.

Family Worship Sunday

The first Sunday of the month is designated as Family Worship Sunday. On these Sundays, grade school-aged children (1st-5th) are encouraged to worship with their families. We will provide a worship hand-out for your kids to help them focus during the sermon. During the service, we will have a children’s sermon geared just for them. We will still have preschool class for kids birth-kindergarten.

Additional Events & Opportunities

In addition to Sunday morning we have several other regular events, including Awana. We also host many events that parents and children will both enjoy. Use the information below to learn more about all we do to partner with parents as they invest in their children’s faith in Christ.

Awana

Awana is for children ages 3 through 5th grade. This weekly program focuses on motivating children to memorize scripture and how to make God’s Word a part of their daily lives.

Special Events

In addition to Sunday Mornings and Awana we schedule special, one-time events throughout the year. Some examples of these special events include Kids DNOW, Game Nights, and Promotion Parties.
