Prayer is a crucial part of your Christian walk. It is during these times when you seek God that you are able to build a stronger relationship with Him. When you pray, God listens. When you pray, God speaks to you. When you pray, God answers.
Prayer is powerful and for that reason, we encourage you to pray. Specifically, we want you to pray for our church. If you have ever wondered how you could be praying for your Foothills family, I have put together a few requests I would love to ask you to pray for.
Take a moment and praise and thank God for what He did in and through our Southeast Asia Team for the following reasons:
- They saw several people trust Jesus for salvation. Our missionary partner said to see that many people trust Jesus is not only an amazing experience but it is also an unprecedented one.
- God was most kind to use our team to refresh and encourage several wives of missionaries as our ladies facilitated a prayer retreat. Many of these families minister in isolation from other team members so the chance to engage with team members from the other side of the country, as well as be ministered to was a rarity.
- Ask God to continue to cultivate in our church family a heart for the world, as well as our neighbors — that we would be bold and mindful of opportunities that God gives us.
