Prayer is a crucial part of your Christian walk. It is during these times when you seek God that you are able to build a stronger relationship with Him. When you pray, God listens. When you pray, God speaks to you. When you pray, God answers.

Prayer is powerful and for that reason, we encourage you to pray. Specifically, we want you to pray for our church. If you have ever wondered how you could be praying for your Foothills family, we have some suggestions. Starting this week and the first week of each month, Nate will share several requests he’d love for you to pray for.

Here are Nate’s prayer points for this month.

1. Pray that our Night of Prayer on March 15, 6:30-8:00 pm, would be a sweet time of God’s people crying out in desperation for Him to work in the lives of unbelievers, that we would be courageous in our relationships and intentional in inviting people to Easter on Sunday, April 16.
2. On March 26, Foothills is turning 30! Please pray that we would honor the past as well as have spiritual eyes positioned to the future of what Jesus will do in and through our church. Pray that God would put an urgency in our hearts to reach the Ahwatukee/Foothills area and beyond, and that we would expect Him to do great things.
3. On April 22-23 we’re having a marriage conference called Better Together. Please pray for individuals who feel like throwing in the towel to be confronted with the power of Jesus and for God to restore marriages. Pray that God would incline the hearts of those individuals who need to be encouraged in their marriage to attend the conference. Pray for husbands and wives to humbly receive the truths shared from God’s Word. Pray that individuals would be equipped to better live out a Jesus-centered marriage.
