Week 6

July 19th – July 25th

Carpet installation continues to make steady progress throughout the Worship Center. This week, crews are laying carpet on the platform, with installation still to come in the Music Suite, offices, and the stairs leading to the baptistry. Each step brings us closer to completing the refresh and preparing the space for worship together again.

Demolition and preparation work began in the Worship Center on June 15, marking the start of the first phase of the Worship Center Refresh. Crews made great progress as work got underway.

Demolition continued this week as crews prepared the Worship Center for the next phase of construction. Significant progress was made throughout the space, and the transformation is becoming more visible each week.

  • Riser demolition
  • Electrical demolition and rework
  • Drywall installation, taping, and sanding behind the risers and around the large screen opening
  • New concrete step work began

Crews completed the new concrete steps and began  painting, marking another visible step forward in the Worship Center Refresh.

Painting has been completed, and carpet installation is officially underway. With these major milestones complete, the Worship Center is beginning to take on its refreshed look as work continues to move forward.
