FAQ
We have determined that the entire expense will be no more than $350,000. We currently have $150,000 on hand. We are asking the Lord to provide through His people $200,000 by Sunday, May 17, 2026.
We are doing some of the work ourselves under the “specifics.” But most require outside contractors and the purchase of materials. The largest expenses are for carpeting, pew and chair covers, the LED screen, and lighting.
While the timeline may feel quick, this project has been in discussion for over a year and was approved by the congregation months ago. Since then, a team has been working through the details carefully and has clarified both the scope and the costs. We do have $150,000 available now, and summer provides the least disruptive window to begin work compared to the fall or spring.
Because the overall project has been prioritized into phases, we’re able to start immediately using the resources we have. We are committed to moving forward one project at a time—spending only what has been given—while continuing to trust God’s provision as additional giving comes in.
We will follow the pattern we used in the past. We will have classes for Preschoolers and Children at both hours. We will be looking for volunteers who are willing to teach every week, every other week, or continue with a once every 6-8 week schedule. All volunteers will continue to be ministry safe trained, and ministry safe ratios will be maintained at all times. During the summer, we will expect to need plenty of substitutes!
We are planning a special service and celebration of rededication once the work is complete. We are also praying and planning to “launch” ourselves to the community afresh, and inviting our neighbors.
