Don’t be naive; false teaching is real and dangerous. Keep Trusting Christ. Verses 8-23 are Paul warning and teaching the Colossians to avoid false teaching and continue to trust in Christ alone. In V8-15 the exhortation is this: Don’t replace the sufficient (Christ) with the deficient (human efforts and pursuits).
