Death feels wrong because it is wrong. The Apostle Paul teaches that because Jesus rose from the dead, all who belong to Christ will also be raised when He returns. This truth rests on three foundations: Jesus’ resurrection is the blueprint for ours, His return will be the moment of our resurrection, and this should transform how we live today. Every person is either in Adam (sin and death) or in Christ (life and resurrection). Your resurrection body will be imperishable, glorious, powerful, and spiritual – still you, but transformed beyond imagination. Since Christ has defeated death, we should live boldly, be steadfast in faith, and abound in the work of the Lord, knowing our labor is never in vain.
