In 1 Peter 2:18-25, we learn how to respond to unfair treatment by following Christ’s example. While our natural instinct is to fight back against injustice, Peter challenges believers to submit even to unjust authorities. This isn’t about endorsing injustice but about following Jesus, who endured the ultimate injustice without retaliation. By entrusting ourselves to God who judges justly, we can respond to mistreatment with righteousness rather than revenge. This Christ-like response not only honors God but serves as a powerful witness to others, demonstrating the transformative power of the gospel in our lives.
