As John concludes his gospel, he tells us that the world couldn’t contain the books that could be written about the life of Jesus! But what an amazing truth to leave us with – restoration is possible.
John 21 is for failures – and we have all failed. And the good news is that our sin does not put us out of the reach of Jesus’ restoring grace. This text teaches that Jesus’ grace makes restoration possible; restoration includes reaffirming your love for Jesus, and restoration is demonstrated by faithfully following the will of Jesus.
