Living as Christians in a hostile world requires spiritual endurance, and Peter provides three essential keys to standing firm in God’s grace. First, when anxiety overwhelms us, we must humble ourselves under God’s mighty hand and cast our worries on Him, remembering that He truly cares for us as demonstrated through the cross. Second, we need to resist the devil through clear thinking, spiritual alertness, and standing firm in faith while staying connected to other believers. Third, we can be confident in our salvation, knowing that after suffering comes glory, and God promises to restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish us. These aren’t just spiritual concepts but practical ways to maintain our footing when life gets difficult.

Scripture: 1 Peter 5:6-14, Psalm 55:22, Romans 8:32
