Matthew 26 is the beginning of the conclusion to Matthew’s gospel. Here Jesus the King is betrayed. This chapter shows us the boldness of betrayal in the actions of Judas and Peter, but we also see the betrayal of boldness in an unamed woman, and in Jesus. In the end we are faced with the questions: What does it look like to betray Jesus? How should we respond to Jesus?
