Psalms is the favorite book of the Bible for many Christians. It takes you into the anger and joy of our experiences, the doubt and encouragement, the laments and praises, the sorrow and delight. Yet, they are not simply the reflections of the author’s religious experience, they are “God-breathed” like the rest of scripture. So the Psalms teach us the Truth.
Psalm 1 teaches us that there are only two ways to live. There are only two kinds of people in the world. And in contrast to the wicked, the righteous choose to submit their lives to the teaching of God and experienced the blessed life.
