John 2:12-15 shows us the zeal of Jesus, the sign of Jesus, and the problem of belief.
Jesus is shown to be the son of David, and the Greater David consumed with zeal for his Father’s house. He is also shown to be God’s Messiah-King who comes with authority over the Temple, who is ultimately consumed by His zeal for God’s glory in His crucifixion and resurrection.

As followers of Christ, we should be zealous to live our lives, Coram Deo.
Zealous to engage in undistracted, whole-hearted Spirit and Truth worship.
Zealous for His glory to be known and experienced among the nations.
