Dear Church Family,
It’s been so good to see a consistent increase in our attendance, including guests, since reopening at the end of August! People obviously want to gather again for worship. We also know that not everyone is comfortable returning or are not able due to health considerations. We love you all and are grateful these brothers and sisters can access the livestream.
This past Sunday, our Elder Team discussed what, if any, next steps we might take with our current reopening stance. We reviewed the current information available through the State, Maricopa County, and school districts regarding our local conditions and recommended measures.
We will continue to be cautious with social distancing and seating every other row in the Worship Center and spacing our seating in the Student Building. But even with those measures, we have enough space to accommodate more attendees in both venues.
Therefore, on Sunday, November 1, we will raise the capacity limit to 120 in the Worship Center for both 9:00 am and 10:45 am services. In the Student Building, we will raise the capacity to 70. Based on attendance data, we will eliminate the 10:45 am service in the Student Building.
Please continue to RSVP so we know how many plan to attend in the Student Building versus the Worship Center.
We will also continue the following measures:
-
- Please continue to wear a face covering upon entering the facilities.
- Maintain physical distancing between yourself and others, unless you are seated with family or friends with whom you spend time during the week.
- If you do not feel well, take advantage of the livestream.
- Please promptly exit the worship center and foyer so that we can clean between services.
Please continue to pray for us as we seek to wisely guide the congregation through this unusual season. If you have not been attending, we hope you will join us for worship on Sundays either at 9:00 am in the Worship Center or Student Building, and at 10:45 am in the Worship Center.
