The mission of Foothills' Children's Ministry is to help children begin to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by partnering with families in nurturing and teaching children to walk in Christ’s light.
Family Worship Sundays
The first Sunday of the month is designated as Family Worship Sunday. On these Sundays, there will be no children’s Sunday School. Children are encouraged to worship with their families. After the Lord’s Supper, children will be dismissed for children’s church. During children’s church, they will hear a Bible lesson and participate in games and other activities to help them apply those Biblical truths to their lives.

If you have children from newborns through 5th grade, we offer fun, safe, scripturally-based age-appropriate ministries in our Preschool and Children’s facilities during both of our Sunday Morning worship times.

Wednesdays • 6:30-8:00 PM
Children's Building
Flashlight is our exciting Wednesday night Bible study for 1st-5th graders. Each week consists of games that get us thinking about the lesson, a time of worship, a Bible study, and videos and other activities to help apply each week's theme to the children's lives.
Flashlight presents Parablelooza! Join us this winter and spring as we invite kindergarteners to join us for Parablelooza, our musical game show!
Kid's Camp
Each year, we allow the kids to experience the fun of camp. Our 3rd-5th graders will be attending Centri-Kid camp at California Baptist University June 25-29, 2012. We will also have a camp for the younger kids and their parents to participate in.
Father-Daughter Tea
In February, we have a special event for girls and their dads, including special activities designed to help foster the father-daughter relationship.
Easter Extravaganza
We have a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt. This event will involve lots of eggs, candy, games; but, more importantly, we will talk about the real meaning of Easter. Invite all your friends to this event!!
Disciple Now
Disciple Now is a weekend designed for 3rd-5th graders to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Kids will get to experience large-group worship time, small-group discussion times, and lots of games and other activities all designed to help them grow closer to Christ.
Mother-Son Hike
This event is designed to foster the mother-son relationship. We will go hiking together and enjoy a tasty snack afterwards.
Family Swim Party
Each year, we celebrate the beginning of summer with a family swim party. The whole family joins us at the pool, and we have hot dogs and hamburgers. It’s a great way to start the summer off right!
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, we host a week of Vacation Bible school. VBS is a fun-filled week of games, activities, crafts, and Bible study. This will be the highlight of the summer, so it will be an event you will not want to miss!
Fall Festival
Each year we will host a fall festival event.It is a great way to celebrate the changing of the seasons and the cooler weather. Join us games, snacks, and lots of fun!
Family Christmas Festival
We want to start the Christmas season off with our focus on Jesus. At our family Christmas party, all ages come together to focus on the real meaning of Christmas. There will be snacks, crafts, games, and worship.
