Serve & go

Serve on a team

At Foothills, you may have met a Guest Services volunteer, a preschool or children’s teacher, a baptism helper, a Foothills Group leader, a Student ministry volunteer, or worship team member. If you are interested in serving on a team here at Foothills please click the button below.

We believe God enables us to make disciples who make Jesus known in Ahwatukee and Beyond!

How to serve at foothills

There are seven Ministry Teams at Foothills that represent opportunities to serve.

1. Worship Team

As vocalists/instrumentalists, this team leads the church to focus their mind’s attention and heart’s affections on Jesus.

2. Set-up /Reset Team

Enables Foothills to attract and reach people with the Gospel, and serve the congregation by setting and resetting the facilities and grounds for events.

3. Creative Team

Use your creative abilities to help us communicate the Gospel in worship and special events, as well as tell the story of what God is doing among us and through us in ministry.

4. Group Leaders Team

Make disciples by leading people to engage and apply scripture for Gospel-centered, heart-change in age-specific settings with Preschoolers, Children, Students or Adults.

5. Tech Team

Help us clearly communicate the Gospel to our church family and guests in worship and during special events.

6. Hospitality Team

Establish a warm, generous, welcoming atmosphere for church-wide or ministry specific events.

7. Guest Services Team

We are hosts and we welcome, inform and serve the needs of our guests as they enter for worship or events, enabling them to take the next step in following Jesus.

If you are interested in finding a place to serve, click the Serve button and complete the form. One of our leaders will be in touch within 24 hours!

Ahwatukee & Beyond Gospel Projects

Ahwatukee & Beyond Gospel projects happen throughout the year, and can involve sending a team from Foothills to a location in Ahwatukee or around the world. Depending on the project, these teams can be comprised of adults, students, children, or a combination thereof. These projects can last a day, several days, or a couple of weeks, depending on the purpose and destination.

Check out the currently scheduled Gospel projects below. If you are interested in participating, complete the application below. The Team Leader for that project will contact you soon. If you have any questions, please contact Jeanne Nation (jeanne@foothillsbaptist.org).
