Philip Graham Ryken said, “part of our sinful nature instinctively chooses to see what we want to see, and to ignore what we want to ignore until it’s too late and the damage is done.” The example of slavery is one such blind spot. In 1 Timothy 6:1-2, we’ll walk through Paul’s instructions to Christians who are living in an infrastructure of slavery and explain how they ought to live.
