There is a feeling in society that Christianity is bad for the world; oppressive, toxic, on the wrong side of history. But the history of Christianity runs counter to that opinion. And while Christians today often want to see social and cultural transformation, our focus should be on the conversion of people from darkness to light, from death to life. When people are converted, everything changes. And that includes our identity. Jesus teaches that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
